Charging Indicator - The front worklight should flash faintly every few seconds when charging and a quick double flash every few seconds once it is fully charged. If the front worklight is NOT flashing when plugged into the charger, the device is not receiving a charge.
Common reasons the device is not receiving a charge:
- Incompatible Power Plug - Most GA devices REQUIRE a Type C-A USB, 5V cable. They are not compatible with Type C-C cords, even with an adaptor.

- If your device serial number contains "C2C," it IS compatible with the the C-C cords.

- Incompatible Voltage - NOT ALL TYPE C CORDS ARE THE SAME - The devices will not accept a charge if the voltage is incorrect. Even with the correct plugs, if the voltage is not compatible, the device will prevent a charge to avoid damage. When in doubt, it is recommend to use the provided cord or a replacement available for purchase on the website. The cord should be 5V output.
- Plug is NOT Engaging - If the grip on the plug is too thick, the plug may not reach far enough to engage with the charging port terminal. Please ensure that the cord grip is not wider than the port opening.
- Incompatible Power Source - The device should be plugged directly into an AC or car charging adaptor. Computers, power packs and other devices will not provide the appropriate voltage.
- A Bad Cable - Cables do wear out over time. With regular use, the device should outlast the life of the cord. If you have not done so, please try a new cable. The devices will work with a non-GA cord, but ensure it meets the specs noted above. Replacement cords are available on the website.
